Intellectual property and data are the heart beat of a modern business. At TechChronos, we understand the value of these assets. We have strived to put structures in place to ensure the safety of our clients’ data and IP.
Intellectual property – be it a patent or a prototype or simply an idea – is valuable to all businesses. Our development and design processes are set up with this in mind. On top of legal frameworks that protect the the client’s interest, development sprints are set up in such a way that the development teams are only aware of the parts they are working on and not the complete picture. This ensures that the key product ideas are not open knowledge during the dev process. To find out how we achieve this, learn more about our process.
Data is a prized commodity in today’s marketplace. It not only ensures efficient running of the company but also is key factor in determining its valuation. When handling a client’s data, we are extremely careful to ensure that it is not unnecessarily exposed. Our development teams do not work with actual data but with simulated data sets that are created before each development cycle. Only our data entry teams – who are very thoroughly monitored during their work – are the only ones who work with actual data. We also have strong legal frameworks in place to ensure that the client’s interests are well served.
It is not uncommon that as a piece of software grows and scales, no single person knows every detail of it. That’s why we adopt a strong culture of Documentation – be it documentation of our codes, user manuals or documenting the tests used to ensure that the software works. We even document our design wireframes! This ensures even if there is a change in personnel between different phases of a project, the Knowledge Transfer is seamless and hardly takes any time. Even in the scenario that a client wants his or her internal team to take over a project, our Documentation culture makes it easy to transition.
The way our development process works, there is complete transparency on how the work is being done, what resources are being used and how much does it cost. During each phase of development, the client is able to track the progression of the project and know who’s working on what aspect of it. It is almost as good as monitoring your own internal team. This naturally leads to complete transparency in our costing and accounting process. Our project managers are always available to clarify any doubts that may arise and walk your through the process – as many time as you want.
